Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Selected Images by Jan Groover. The price achieved of USD 1,008.00 (€ 872.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Groover achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life Studies in June 2010 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,170.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected Images von Jan Groover zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.008,00 (€ 872,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Groover erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life Studies im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.170,04).
