The work Double Standard by Dennis Hopper was auctioned at Christies in New York in May last year. It achieved a price of USD 65,520.00 (€ 61,056.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dennis Hopper - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006, which sold at auction in November 2012 for USD 206,500.00 (€ 158,724.06).

Die Arbeit Double Standard von Dennis Hopper kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 65.520,00 (€ 61.056,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Für andere Arbeiten von Dennis Hopper mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006 beobachtet, die im November 2012 für USD 206.500,00 (€ 158.724,06) versteigert wurde.
