In October last year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Andy Warhol and Members of the Factory by Dennis Hopper. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,080.00 (€ 10,146.97), 68% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dennis Hopper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006 in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 206,500.00 (€ 158,724.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Andy Warhol and Members of the Factory von Dennis Hopper zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 10.146,97) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dennis Hopper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Andy Warhol (With Flower), 1963/2006 im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.500,00 (€ 158.724,06).
