Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mariah Carey: End Of The Rainbow by David LaChapelle was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,089.73). Other works by David LaChapelle have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,884.60) in May 2016 for the work Addicted to Diamonds, 1997.
