Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mariah Carey: End Of The Rainbow by David LaChapelle was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 18,089.73). Other works by David LaChapelle have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,884.60) in May 2016 for the work Addicted to Diamonds, 1997.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mariah Carey: End Of The Rainbow von David LaChapelle wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 18.089,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von David LaChapelle haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.884,60) im Mai 2016 für die Arbeit Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 beobachtet.
