Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Artists and Prostitutes. by David LaChapelle was sold in the Contemporary Art | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in Cologne in March 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 774.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David LaChapelle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,884.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Artists and Prostitutes. von David LaChapelle wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM in Köln versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 774,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David LaChapelle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.884,60).
