It achieved a price of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,485.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David LaChapelle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Addicted to Diamonds, 1997, which sold at auction in May 2016 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,884.60).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.485,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Für andere Arbeiten von David LaChapelle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.884,60) versteigert wurde.
