The work Risk Flower by David LaChapelle was sold in the Art for Maggie's: Everyone's Home of Cancer Care auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,971.40), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by David LaChapelle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,884.60).

Die Arbeit Risk Flower von David LaChapelle wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Art for Maggie's: Everyone's Home of Cancer Care bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.971,40) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David LaChapelle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Addicted to Diamonds, 1997 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.884,60).
