Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work God Told Me To Give Birth by Arnaldo Roche Rabell. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,398.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arnaldo Roche Rabell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pursuit of Happiness in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 197,000.00 (€ 144,789.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit God Told Me To Give Birth von Arnaldo Roche Rabell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.398,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnaldo Roche Rabell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pursuit of Happiness im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 197.000,00 (€ 144.789,06).
