Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beware of Medusa by Arnaldo Roche Rabell was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in September last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,760.00 (€ 33,486.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Arnaldo Roche Rabell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pursuit of Happiness in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 197,000.00 (€ 144,789.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beware of Medusa von Arnaldo Roche Rabell wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.760,00 (€ 33.486,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnaldo Roche Rabell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pursuit of Happiness im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 197.000,00 (€ 144.789,06).
