In February last year Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Fraternos by Arnaldo Roche Rabell. The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,818.96), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arnaldo Roche Rabell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pursuit of Happiness in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 197,000.00 (€ 144,789.06).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fraternos von Arnaldo Roche Rabell zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.818,96) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnaldo Roche Rabell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pursuit of Happiness im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 197.000,00 (€ 144.789,06).
