Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Essence by Arnaldo Roche Rabell was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2019. The price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,089.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnaldo Roche Rabell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Pursuit of Happiness, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 197,000.00 (€ 144,789.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Essence von Arnaldo Roche Rabell kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.089,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Roche Rabell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Pursuit of Happiness beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 197.000,00 (€ 144.789,06) versteigert wurde.
