In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work The Tease by Arnaldo Roche Rabell. The »bidding war« ended at USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,157.91), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnaldo Roche Rabell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Pursuit of Happiness, which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 197,000.00 (€ 144,789.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Tease von Arnaldo Roche Rabell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.157,91) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Roche Rabell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Pursuit of Happiness beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 197.000,00 (€ 144.789,06) versteigert wurde.
