Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Guardian And House by Anne Chu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 27,000.00 (€ 20,069.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Anne Chu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Woman With Pigtails was auctioned for USD 48,000.00 (€ 36,196.37).

Die Arbeit Guardian And House von Anne Chu kam im Mai 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 27.000,00 (€ 20.069,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Anne Chu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2006 die Arbeit Woman With Pigtails für USD 48.000,00 (€ 36.196,37) versteigert.
