Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Guardian And House by Anne Chu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 27,000.00 (€ 20,069.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Anne Chu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Woman With Pigtails was auctioned for USD 48,000.00 (€ 36,196.37).
