Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anne Chu could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection auction, the work Duck-Rabbit changed hands for EUR 3,125.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Chu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman With Pigtails in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 36,196.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anne Chu konnte im April 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Piet and Ida Sanders Collection wechselte die Arbeit Duck-Rabbit für EUR 3.125,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Chu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman With Pigtails im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 36.196,37).
