Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anne Chu could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open/NYC auction, the work Study for a Mounted Horseman changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,163.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Chu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman With Pigtails in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 36,196.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anne Chu konnte im März 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open/NYC wechselte die Arbeit Study for a Mounted Horseman für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.163,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Chu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman With Pigtails im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 36.196,37).
