Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,816.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne Chu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman With Pigtails, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 48,000.00 (€ 36,196.37).
