Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Aaron Bobrow. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 3,147.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Aaron Bobrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work B.I.G. in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,960.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aaron Bobrow zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 3.147,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Bobrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit B.I.G. im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.960,69).
