In May 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online, which included this untitled work by Aaron Bobrow. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,932.08), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aaron Bobrow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work B.I.G. in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,960.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aaron Bobrow zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.932,08) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aaron Bobrow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit B.I.G. im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.960,69).
