Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Suspended Reality by Aaron Bobrow. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,484.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aaron Bobrow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work B.I.G., which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,960.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Suspended Reality von Aaron Bobrow zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.484,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Aaron Bobrow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit B.I.G. beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.960,69) versteigert wurde.
