Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work HOME by Will Boone was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,397.00 (€ 1,265.40), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Will Boone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ICE in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit HOME von Will Boone wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.397,00 (€ 1.265,40) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Will Boone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ICE im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.736,27).
