Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day: An Online Auction, which included the work This Place Is Ruined, It'S Full Of Others Like You by Will Boone. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,194.81) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Will Boone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ICE in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27).

Im Mai 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day: An Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit This Place Is Ruined, It'S Full Of Others Like You von Will Boone zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.194,81) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Will Boone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ICE im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.736,27).
