Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Christies held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work ID by Will Boone. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,051.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Will Boone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ICE, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit ID von Will Boone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.051,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Will Boone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ICE beobachtet, die im November 2019 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.736,27) versteigert wurde.
