Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Phillips in New York held the auction 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Death Wish by Will Boone. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,024.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Will Boone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work ICE in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 73,736.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Death Wish von Will Boone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.024,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Will Boone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ICE im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 73.736,27).
