Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ag by Spencer Finch was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2016. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,572.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Spencer Finch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work New York Boogie Woogie (Times Square, April 27, 2003, 10:07 Pm), which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 60,668.90).
