In February 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples, which included the work Back to Kansas by Spencer Finch. The »bidding war« ended at USD 15,300.00 (€ 12,651.95), 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Spencer Finch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New York Boogie Woogie (Times Square, April 27, 2003, 10:07 Pm) in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 60,668.90).

Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Geometric AbstractionPrints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Back to Kansas von Spencer Finch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 15.300,00 (€ 12.651,95) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Spencer Finch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New York Boogie Woogie (Times Square, April 27, 2003, 10:07 Pm) im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 60.668,90).
