Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moonlight (Luna County, New Mexico, July 13, 2003) by Spencer Finch was auctioned at Phillips in New York in June last year. The price achieved of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,610.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Spencer Finch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York Boogie Woogie (Times Square, April 27, 2003, 10:07 Pm) in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 60,668.90).

Die Arbeit Moonlight (Luna County, New Mexico, July 13, 2003) von Spencer Finch kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.610,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Spencer Finch erzielen.
