Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Connections by Ruth Francken was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2014. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,019.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruth Francken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Siège / Sculpture modèle "homme" in June this year with an auction result of EUR 35,840.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Connections von Ruth Francken kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.019,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruth Francken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Siège / Sculpture modèle "homme" im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.840,00.
