In October 2012 Christies in Paris held the auction Rendez-Vous - Intérieurs Contemporains, which included the work Secret Évolue by Ruth Francken. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,375.00 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ruth Francken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Siège / Sculpture modèle "homme" in June this year with an auction result of EUR 35,840.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Rendez-Vous - Intérieurs Contemporains durch, in der auch die Arbeit Secret Évolue von Ruth Francken zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.375,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruth Francken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Siège / Sculpture modèle "homme" im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.840,00.
