Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lilith No. 4 (From The Reliefs Photométalliques Series) by Ruth Francken was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ruth Francken have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Siège / Sculpture modèle "homme" in June this year with an auction result of EUR 35,840.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lilith No. 4 (From The Reliefs Photométalliques Series) von Ruth Francken kam im Mai 2011 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruth Francken auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Siège / Sculpture modèle "homme" im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.840,00.
