The work Untitled (S.422, Hanging Single-Lobed, Three Layers Of Spheres) by Ruth Asawa was worth USD 1,220,000.00 (€ 1,107,178.51) to a buyer in November 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 200,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ruth Asawa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (S.387, Hanging Three Separate Layers of Three-Lobed Forms), which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 4,095,000.00 (€ 3,716,308.19).

Die Arbeit Untitled (S.422, Hanging Single-Lobed, Three Layers Of Spheres) von Ruth Asawa war einem Käufer im November 2019 USD 1.220.000,00 (€ 1.107.178,51) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 200.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
