(21.6 x 27.9 cm) by Ruth Asawa was worth USD 2,422.50 (€ 2,264.44) to a buyer in December last year. This price was achieved in the auction Studio Art at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 400.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ruth Asawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (S.387, Hanging Three Separate Layers of Three-Lobed Forms) in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 4,095,000.00 (€ 3,716,308.19).
