Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rodney Graham was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 2,268.00 (€ 2,283.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodney Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inverted Drip Painting #47 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rodney Graham kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.268,00 (€ 2.283,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodney Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inverted Drip Painting #47 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.153,72).
