In December last year VAN HAM held the auction Photography | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work City Self. by Rodney Graham. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 344.00 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodney Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inverted Drip Painting #47 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Photography | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit City Self. von Rodney Graham zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 344,00 und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodney Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Inverted Drip Painting #47 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.153,72).
