Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Oxfordshire Oak, Banford Fall, 1990 by Rodney Graham for GBP 230.40 (€ 230.40). This price was achieved in the auction Prints and Multiples at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodney Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inverted Drip Painting #47 in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,153.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Oxfordshire Oak, Banford Fall, 1990 von Rodney Graham für GBP 230,40 (€ 230,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodney Graham erzielen.
