Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Richmond Burton was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,470.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richmond Burton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eyes In The Heat in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,846.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Richmond Burton kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.470,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richmond Burton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eyes In The Heat im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.846,36).
