This work of art by Richmond Burton could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's 100 auction, the work Faceted Space (Study) changed hands for USD 875.00 (€ 793.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richmond Burton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eyes In The Heat in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,846.36).
