The »bidding war« ended at USD 43,750.00 (€ 39,668.15), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ralph Goings have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 3,100,000.00 (€ 339,772.73).

Die Arbeit Pam Ii von Ralph Goings wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 39.668,15) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ralph Goings auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.100.000,00 (€ 339.772,73).
