A top price for Ralph Goings - as previously expected
In May 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary, which included the work "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" by Ralph Goings. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 3,100,000.00 (€ 339,772.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" is the most expensive artwork by Ralph Goings that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" von Ralph Goings zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 3.100.000,00 (€ 339.772,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ralph Goings, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
