Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Glazed by Ralph Goings. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,902.50), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Goings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" in May 2014 with an auction result of SEK 3,100,000.00 (€ 339,772.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Glazed von Ralph Goings zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.902,50) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ralph Goings erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Hot Fudge Sundae Interior" im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.100.000,00 (€ 339.772,73).
