The work 3 Works From Today Series, 1966-2013 18 Ott. 1990; 20 Ott. 1990; 21 Ott. 1990 by On Kawara was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2019. The price achieved of USD 836,000.00 (€ 749,843.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by On Kawara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Decade) in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 4,175,000.00 (€ 3,715,735.14).
