Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dog And Food by Neil Jenney was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 362,500.00 (€ 310,625.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Jenney - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Threat and Sanctuary, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 965,000.00 (€ 866,636.73).
