Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beast and Burden by Neil Jenney was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 372,500.00 (€ 313,077.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neil Jenney - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Threat and Sanctuary, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 965,000.00 (€ 866,636.73).
