In June 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Trash And Trashcan by Neil Jenney. The »bidding war« ended at USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,078.53), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Neil Jenney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Threat and Sanctuary in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 965,000.00 (€ 866,636.73).

Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trash And Trashcan von Neil Jenney zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 178.078,53) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Neil Jenney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Threat and Sanctuary im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 965.000,00 (€ 866.636,73).
