In the First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY auction, the work The Kiss changed hands for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,223.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marisol Escobar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Andy in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 794,500.00 (€ 642,591.39).
