This artwork by Marisol Escobar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2021. In the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Woman From Paris sold for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,152.71) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marisol Escobar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Andy in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 794,500.00 (€ 642,591.39).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Marisol Escobar erzielte im März 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Woman From Paris für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.152,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marisol Escobar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Andy im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 794.500,00 (€ 642.591,39).
