Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Italian Point To Point Life by Makoto Saito was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,910.56). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Makoto Saito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Snow B.B. (No. 20130301) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 376,573.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Italian Point To Point Life von Makoto Saito wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.910,56) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Makoto Saito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Snow B.B. (No. 20130301) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 376.573,62).
