The work 275 Feet Below Sea Level by Liz Deschenes was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in May 2008. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,213.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liz Deschenes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shift/Rise #10 in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 35,646.24).

Die Arbeit 275 Feet Below Sea Level von Liz Deschenes wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.213,37) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liz Deschenes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shift/Rise #10 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.250,00 (€ 35.646,24).
