Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Liz Deschenes could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Cloud Study #10, #11 and #14, 1995 changed hands for USD 1,200.00 (€ 945.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liz Deschenes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shift/Rise #10 in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 35,646.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liz Deschenes konnte im September 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Cloud Study #10, #11 and #14, 1995 für USD 1.200,00 (€ 945,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liz Deschenes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shift/Rise #10 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.250,00 (€ 35.646,24).
