The work Shift/ Rise #35 by Liz Deschenes was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,449.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liz Deschenes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shift/Rise #10, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 26,250.00 (€ 35,646.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shift/ Rise #35 von Liz Deschenes wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.449,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Liz Deschenes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shift/Rise #10 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 26.250,00 (€ 35.646,24) versteigert wurde.
