Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Liz Deschenes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2020. In the Christie's 100 auction, the work Black and White #3 sold for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,936.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liz Deschenes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shift/Rise #10 in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 35,646.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liz Deschenes erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Christie's 100 wurde die Arbeit Black and White #3 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.936,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liz Deschenes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shift/Rise #10 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.250,00 (€ 35.646,24).
